The only way to get your traffic ticket dismissed is to dispute the charge. Our goal is to get your traffic ticket DISMISSED. If your case is dismissed, you will not have to pay the ticket fine, you will not receive points on your license and the citation will not go on your driving record. If we cannot get your traffic ticket dismissed, we will fight to have the fine reduced and adjudication withheld (no points on your license).
Even something that seems as simple as a traffic ticket can necessitate the help of an experienced lawyer. McCulloch Law will fight for you. And, with years of civil traffic law knowledge, our approach to your case will be unique, extensive, and solid – resulting in the best outcome possible.
Many people don't realize that you can fight a traffic ticket and just pay the fine. When you pay a traffic ticket, you automatically receive a formal conviction of guilt and the associated points on your driver's license. You will most likely have to take driving school to remove the points from your driver's license. You must first be eligible to elect driving school and then will be required to pay for and attend driving school.
If you elect to take driving school, adjudication will be withheld. You will receive no points on your license, but you will still have to pay the full traffic ticket fine. You will also have to pay the driving school fee and spend time taking the 4-hour driving class. You cannot elect driving school if the ticket requires a mandatory court appearance. You may only elect driving school 5 times in a lifetime and only once in a 12-month period. CDL drivers may not elect driving school. An attorney may be able to get the adjudication withheld (no points on your license) without you having to elect driving school, saving you time and money.
Incurring points on your license can lead to license suspension and increased insurance rates. Points stay on your license and can affect insurance rates for up to 3 years.
Your driver's license may be suspended if you incur:
12 points in a 12-month period
18 points in an 18-month period
24 points in a 36-month period
We go to court, so that you don't have to! In most cases, a lawyer can appear in court on your behalf.
